Shipping policy
At The Lactoferrin Company, we prioritize delivering your products swiftly and efficiently. Below are the terms governing our shipping process:
1. Standard Delivery Timeframe
Deliveries typically arrive within 2–17 business days, depending on your location. Orders placed before 12 pm are generally dispatched the same day, excluding weekends. During peak times or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., holidays, Black Friday sales), processing may take up to 72 hours.
Please note: All shipping timeframes are estimates. We are at the mercy of the carriers, and delays can occur outside of our control. We cannot be held responsible for carrier-related delays that extend delivery times beyond the listed ranges.
2. Priority Shipping
Priority shipping indicates that your order will be processed and shipped with priority handling. This does not guarantee shipment via USPS Priority Mail or any specific carrier. The carrier will be selected at the discretion of the shipper. Priority orders typically arrive within 2–7 business days, but may take longer due to unforeseen circumstances. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.
3. International Orders
For international orders, the standard delivery timeframe is 7–28 business days, but shipping may take longer due to customs clearance, inspections, or carrier delays. Customs procedures vary widely between countries, and we cannot control or expedite this process.
We are not responsible for packages delayed, rejected, or held by customs in the recipient’s country. We also cannot issue refunds for orders delayed due to customs or international carrier issues.
4. Freight Charges & Customs
Global shipping rates and conditions are dynamic. In some cases, remote area surcharges or elevated shipping fees may apply. If your order is affected, we will contact you promptly.
Some international destinations may impose local customs charges. We recommend contacting your local customs office to understand potential fees before purchasing.
5. Address Accuracy
Providing accurate and complete shipping information at the time of purchase is the customer’s responsibility. We are not liable for:
- Packages delivered to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
- Refunds for orders returned due to incorrect addresses or non-acceptance by the customer.
6. Non-Acceptance of Packages
If a customer chooses not to accept their package upon delivery, no refund or reshipment will be provided.
7. Customs Regulations
Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with their country’s customs regulations. Refunds or reshipments will not be issued for items stopped, delayed, or rejected by customs.
8. Refunds and Deductions
In the rare event that a refund is approved, shipping and handling costs will be deducted from the refunded amount.
