Refund policy
1. No Returns or Refunds for Change of Mind
We do not accept returns or provide refunds for customers who change their mind after purchase. Please ensure your decision before placing an order.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns for any items—opened or unopened—including capsules or powders. This policy is in place to maintain product integrity and safety for all customers.
3. No Satisfaction Guarantee – Confidence in Product Quality
At The Lactoferrin Co., we are extremely confident in the quality and integrity of our Lactoferrin. Our product is manufactured to the highest standards, and we stand by its purity, potency, and consistency. Many of our customers experience remarkable benefits and continue to reorder because of the outstanding results they’ve seen.
However, as with any supplement, individual results may vary. While we are proud of the positive outcomes our customers report, we do not offer a satisfaction guarantee or refunds under the following circumstances:
- You feel the product didn’t work for you.
- You experienced side effects or sensitivities.
- You are disappointed it did not resolve a specific health issue.
We guarantee that you will receive a premium-quality Lactoferrin product, delivered in excellent condition. But we cannot guarantee personal health outcomes, which depend on individual biology and circumstances. This policy protects our ability to continue delivering trusted products to all our customers.
4. Address Accuracy and Non-Acceptance of Packages
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate shipping information at checkout. We are not responsible for refunds or replacements in situations where:
- A package is refused or unclaimed.
- The customer has moved or provided an outdated address.
- The address is incorrect or incomplete.
- The order is stopped or delayed by local customs in the destination country.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
We take great care to ensure your order arrives in excellent condition. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please email us at hello@lactoferrin.co within 7 days of receiving your order. Be sure to include clear photos and a description of the issue. Once validated, we will arrange a replacement at no additional cost.
5A. Heat and Weather Conditions
Our Lactoferrin products are shipped worldwide throughout the summer months and year-round. While Lactoferrin is known to be heat sensitive, we package and ship products to maintain quality, and we have never had a product deemed defective due to weather exposure.
We do not provide refunds or replacements if:
- Your package was delivered and left in a mailbox, parcel locker, or outside, and you believe it has been exposed to heat for too long.
- You are concerned that weather conditions after delivery may have affected your product.
It is the customer’s responsibility to retrieve deliveries promptly upon arrival. Once the package is marked as delivered by the carrier, we cannot be responsible for environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, or storage.
6. Customs and Import Regulations
Each customer is responsible for understanding the customs laws of their own country. We are not liable for delays, rejections, or returns due to customs regulations. Refunds will not be issued for orders stopped, seized, or returned by customs.
7. Subscriptions
You may pause or cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. However, any changes will apply to future orders only. Orders already processed or shipped cannot be refunded. Please manage your subscription in advance of renewal dates to avoid unwanted charges.
8. Refunds and Deductions
In the rare case that a refund is approved, the following may be deducted from the refunded amount:
- Original shipping and handling fees.
- Return shipping label cost (if we provide you with a label), usually ~$9 USD in the U.S.
- A minimum restocking fee of $10 USD.
These deductions help us recover some of the costs incurred in processing and fulfilling your order.
9. Final Sale
All purchases are final. By completing your order, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted, except as outlined in Section 5 regarding damaged or defective items.
